Covid-19 Emergency

Help is only a Phone Call away!

We are all aware of the challenges facing us in our villages due to the Coronavirus.

If you are self-isolating or you are concerned about venturing out, here are a few telephone numbers which may be of benefit to you

Please don’t hesitate to use them!

Shopping

The following local stores are offering free deliveries to your door:

Rose Farm, Utkinton.

They will deliver to your door any supplies that they have available. They have a full range of groceries, wine, beer, frozen goods, fresh meat, fruit & veg, cheeses and daily papers.

Please telephone them on 01829 732978.

Delamere Stores.

They are offering free deliveries of all the essentials. Milk, bread, fresh meat, fruit & veg, Coward’s pies, daily papers, wine, beer.

Please telephone them on 01606 882226.

Ashton & Mouldsworth Community Shop.

The shop has a band of volunteers who will gladly assist with deliveries and other needs.  Just phone the shop with your requirements and they will be able to assist you in many ways, not just shopping.

Book Loan Service.

Kelsall Patient Participation Group currently run the second-hand book sales rack in the Co-op and all donations are in support of the Wellbeing Hub.

In the difficult days ahead, where many may need to self-isolate for a substantial period of time, we are offering a free delivery service to local residents.

If you are interested in taking up this offer for free books (maximum of 2 books per person), we would be happy to deliver to your door with no personal contact if required.

Please contact Emma on 07415 886569, and she will arrange delivery and discuss the type of book that would be of interest to you.

We hope this service will help to pass the time.

Kelsall Parish Council.

The Parish Council have compiled a register of local people who would like to volunteer and assist any one with difficulties.

If you have need of anything, please telephone Humphrey Claxton on 01829 752905 or Anne Britton  on 01829 751636. Both Humphrey and Anne are  members of the Parish Council. They will be able to assist you.

If you are in a position to volunteer to help, please visit the Kelsall Parish Council Facebook page where you can register your willingness to help.

Currently the Parish Council has volunteers putting notices through every door with offers of help and contact phone numbers.

We hope that you will find this list helpful but if there is anything else you need to know, please feel free to telephone us on 01829 458396 and we will do all we can to assist you.

Good Luck and our very Best wishes to everyone
